I want a starter project that involves the use of 7mm needles (not sure about the yarn, it's about 1mm thick and tightly woven....) I'm not too good yet so I just want something really easy..any ideas?:RuNew:

Potholder, especially if it's cotton yarn.

How much yarn do you have?
There are loads of sites that have really easy patterns to follow to make scarves or simple afghans if you have enough yarn.
Here are two sites that I use.
http://knitting.about.com/
http://www.cosy-place.com/html/84.html
On the first link you will also find things to help you learn how to do things and what abbreviations mean as well. If I can help out I will I learnt two years ago and have made all sorts of things from stuffed toys, scarves and afghans and even a jumper for myself.
Hope this helps.

one of my favorite 1 skein projects is a keyhole scarf. Basically just a regular scarf with a hole about five inches from one end to thread the scarf through, (that way the thing does not blow off in a strong wind) it is easy, a fast knit and done quickly for that instant gratification factor.
