Mystic Wickers Unite on MySpace.com - new group image!

I put together a new profile picture for the group over on MySpace, Love and Light Unite! (http://groups.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=groups.groupProfile&groupID=101218564&Mytoken=D94D389D-2BA3-4B16-8B0ACB2A83523000134078062)although I don't know if I'll be able to upload it this morning before I have to run off and do some errands... just wanted to share:
the I created the images with my Picture It program using pictures I took of my quartz crystal cluster with a candle beneath it...

Thanks for posting this. I didnt know there was a group over there with some familiar faces, so I just signed up, but it sucks cause I cant post in the forums for 7 days. All right, folks. I have looked into Myspace a bit. I couldn't spend a lot of time, but I asked around and explored there site and I think it is quite possible that they are harvesting information. Especially, geographic. Now what do they do with this info? Probably nothing more than giving it to ad companies so they can make dumber commercials that we have to sit through. But, it's just not something I think MW should associate with.

Now, I can't tell you guys what to do...but I would appreciate it if you kept MW info off of there just in case. Don't use the same usernames, etc if you are going to use Myspace. If available I would even use a totally separate email address.

Ok guys, I like being on myspace because I like putting our original songs on there and sharing them with people, so I will be staying there for awhile, I'm sure. Anyone else who stays, I'd say just keep your security settings high and be cautious of who you give info, ok? I am going to be closing the group that had started as MW Unite. I had already changed the url and name of the group to put the mysticwicks connections undercover, so to speak, but just in case, I had also started a different group for open spirituality type posting and such. It is private and anyone who still wants to join it after all of this that has happened is more than welcome to join, but they will just have to find me on my myspace account, (link in my signature) and let me know they want to join, and only if they remember not to put their info related to MW in their posts and such, ok?

One other side note: mol, on my profile page, I have a referral link to MW, in order to bring other people here; those links reveal our MW identity by number, if they look at the address when they point their mouse at it - do you want us also to remove that as well ? Sorry for asking, but I'm a bit dense sometimes.

Actually, now I am not sure you guys have to change anything. I still think myspace is a harvester, but they are not involved in the phishing stuff.

Just got the confirmation email saying the group would be deleted within 48 hours. CRAP! Well, I had already started another group that was private from the get go, with the same crystal image and for the same purpose of being another spiritual haven/unite thing. Should it be okay, then, to go ahead and invite the people who have requested invites here to join me there? I'll see ... if the group is still there for 48 hours, maybe it will let me post the new group url... *sigh*
