View Full Version : Funniest Dream!

Last night I had a dream that started off terrifying and ended up hilarious.

I was in my car and it died. I was under a sort of concrete underpass type thing. I called someone (my hubber?) on my cell to get help and I am looking out my windshield and I see that there are three planes crashed and debris off to the side of the road in front of me. I say this on the phone.."you can't miss me! There are crashed planes right near where I am!"

Suddenly, this HUGE thing that looks like a rocket (I live in Cocoa Beach, FL so rocket launches happen all the time) comes into my field of vision and as I am watching it, I realize there is no way it is going to take off successfully. I is heading for a crash....which it does about 100 yards in front of the opening of the tunnel/underpass thing I am in....and after it crashes a large portion of it starts rolling and SLAMS into the tunnel (I even felt the boom/vibrations of it hitting)......

As I am adjusting to the shock of this, and having stupid thoughts like "Oh great, now the road is blocked, how the heck am I gonna get home," I suddenly see this wall of what at the time I think is fire....then it sort of morphs into a more Lava appearance and is moving rapidly toward me....but on the Car radio, the announcer is saying it is Water, that some dam broke and the river is flooding people out--mind you there is no such thing in this area, and besides, I have no idea where I was, none of the physical surroundings were familiar to me--

So, I of course, am clamoring to get out. I get out of the car, panicked, and am running from the wall of water/lava/fire and of course, as happens in dreams, there is suddenly this maze-like network of doors and such in my way, so I am throwing latches and turning door knobs and literally thinking (which NEVER HAPPENS IN MY DREAMS) "I am gonna die if I don't get out of here...." When....I turn a corner after getting through one of the doors and lo and behold....there is Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning and the Son (can't remember his name) from War of the Worlds right in front of me....And telling me to follow them! LOL....it was at that moment that I thought...PHEW, I am dreaming!

I honestly think I was soooo scared by the first part of the dream that my mind said "Enough!" and gave me a break with a little comic relief....any thoughts?

perhaps it means that you worry too much, and the dream is telling you to not make such a big deal out of things and learn to laugh at life, at yourself. Or Since you died it symbolizes that you will go through drastic changes, and take it all in good stride with a healthy dose of humor, and that you will not be afraid to ask for help. Just ideas
