Just in case anyone was involved with buying and selling at E-witch Pagan Auction. I just found out the site has been permanently closed.

It is a shame but obviously they ran into trouble of some kind.

I had a credit on that site but I suppose I will never see a refund. It wasn't much and if they are in dire financial straits I really don't mind.

I sold a number of items and made some good on line friends it was worth the price.

Wow, this is sad news! I really liked E-Witch and had bought several things in their auctions. :( It's too bad they couldn't make a go of it.

i never did any business with them but i've never heard anything negative either. did they use "paypal"? i have been hearing on the net lately that paypal has been playing fast and loose with vendor accounts lately, freezing accounts for specious reasons and blowing off complaints. losing access to funds held by paypal could quickly do in a small business/service. any more details available on e-witches demise?

If anyone ever hears from Ravyn who was the web mistress on e_witch, please let us know. I will light candles for whatever their ails were.

It was the sellers who offered the use of Paypal not E-witch it self. I could be that they used Paypal to get paid their accounts, but I don't know for sure.

I opened a Paypal account and had nothing but trouble doing so. I've got a small balance in there and will use it to pay my account at another auction site that I use. But other than that I doubt if I will use it much. It's a pain to even get your money out of there especially since I am in Canada, not the States.

Happy Winter Solstice to all.

skysteed you're far from the only one to have trouble with paypal, if it were me i'd get any money out of there and use snail mail money orders. that takes a few days extra but you're sure the person you're dealing with will get the money. i've had good luck dealing that way with firearms accessories on line at auctionarms.com

Sorry to hear about your troubles with paypal. I opened an account with them to pay for my domain name and it was nothing if not delightful and easy.

Unfortunately you can't take money out of paypal unless it is a minimum of $50.00. I don't have that much in there or it would already be out.
So I'll just use it and then let the account sit there dead.
