I'm a graphic artist, animator, designer and comic book artist:artist: . I currently work for a small company that doesn't know the first thing about design (or business it seems). I find that my creativity is suffering here_taparoo_ . I am also a full time Animation/Design student and I don't have the time to dedicate to my design work at school because my job pays squat so I have to work as much as possible... I just want my creativity back. I am also a student of Pa Kua Sintonia so I do get a lot of meditation at least three days a week. Any suggestions, excercises, etc...? Thanks to all

No tips? Ah, I guess I'm just working too much to step back and create... Thanks anyway :-)

I'm an illustrator/ fine artist..but now and then if I have to
do odd jobs to keep up with the bills I don't have time to walk in the studio
and create....
And that really affects me--- like I need my fix...
I find something as simple as small sketch book(s) that you can have in the car - at home...
so you can scribble and put down on paper a visual thought you have--that may lead to something down the road...
I found if I could sketch now and then it helps to stimulate the creative mind...
I found as well to have almost 2 kinds of sketchbooks...
one that you may share your drawings/images with others...
and another thats exclusive to you...
since sometimes you may restrict your drawings because you have in the back of your mind that someone will see it--i better make this look good...
instead of appeasing the masses just draw for you and you only...

Thanks. I keep sketch books with me but I ride a motorcycle, sometimes I have to travel light :-)
I like the idea of having a private drawing journal... I'll give that a try. Can you show some of your work?
