For those that arise relatively early do you perform anything magical in the morning before work or school or save it all for the night time? If so what sorts of things do you fit in before work, uni, school etc?

I've been meaning to begin dawn meditations, but I've been busy with finals.

This is my morning agenda:
1 Rise, have a shower make a coffee
2 write Morning Pages
3 Meditate
4 Say a small prayer
5 One Card Draw from Tarot or angel cards whichever is calling to me
6 Set intentions for the day
(I did go off the wagon so to speak, for a bit there, but am back and so far up to 1,3 & 4)
then I go on to all the other stuff

Do you see a difference between the days you do avhere to the list and the days you don't?

definately!!! if I do 3 or more, I have a calmer more relaxing day, and hence tend to be happier, more easy going (which for me is something in of itself) etc...otherwise chaos reigns!!!

I'm not collected enough in the morning to ever remember. I wake up about 20 minutes before I walk out the door (though I set my alarm for an hour earlier than that), and all that time is spent quickly checking email and getting ready.
I'm not so rushed in the evening, and I do some kind of ritual (even 2-minute ones) every night before bed. Knowing my pattern, if I expand on my daily routine, I'm better off--in terms of keeping up with it--by adding it to the evening.
It's a battle with my unconscious mind every morning just getting up. You know, when the alarm going off actually interprets as a verbal message from the alarm clock. ^_^ It seriously plays tricks on me... ^_^
My mom, though, gets up at 4:30 and she does between 20 and 45 minutes of Yoga every morning. It's helped her stress levels immensely, and she definitely sees a difference in yoga/no-yoga days. She sees a difference between the 20-minute days and the 45-minute days...

I've been going up to a local scenic spot for sunrise on the weekends for the past month or so. I do about a half hour of droning on my didgeridoo from dawn through sunrise and then about another 15 or 20 minutes after that. Then about 30 mins or so of meditation before heading back home. I've found it really gives me a very grounded/centered start to the day and I'm really focused and productive the rest of the day.

As I'm not a morning person, I do my rituals at night. I usually wait until after 9 pm that way I have all of the dogs settled, the hubby settled, etc. Then I have a minimum of 2 hours that I can devote to my rituals/spell work/ meditation, whatever.
On clear nights, of course, everything else goes out the window, as they are few and far between and the winter time skies are my favorite for observing.

I'm homeschooled and I don't have a job currently (oh noes!), so I usually sleep over the mornings. However they are my favorite time for magic because the energy of the rising sun is enough to make me tremble! Anything and everything from blessings/divination/dance rituals. I don't really do things in the morning that require banishment, since I see it as starting energy.
