that is not fair,
It's bad enough that they have to go without pay, but to take away thier medical benifits too?? that is just not right.

Fema should pick up the tab on thier medical bills at least through this winter, it is the least they can do considering how mucheth they sucketh.

I think they should at least be allowed temporary Medicaid for 3 months.

And not only will this effect these poor people, but the economic ramifications will probably be felt across the country...

From the casinos to the citrus crop, from tourism to agriculture and crude oil: together Katrina, Rita, and Wilma have crippled almost every industry in the Southeast, and have managed to make me feel that every new day this limping region gets to take another slap in the face.

One of the dealers I went to poker school with is from Biloxi, she is 19, just out of high school this year... her whole senior class is now scattered throughout the country...

she is going to work out here in Atlantic city untill the casinos rebuild... Her family worked for the MGM Grand...

Atlantic city and Vegas are still on a hireing spree gearing up for next summer.... Typically, the casinos here in AC start hireing for the summer season in march/april... but there are alot of jobs available now in Dec...

Some info for anyone who may be looking into working in atlantic city, there are a few rooming hotels and reasonably affordable efficiency apts, they are all full in the summer with all of the workers who come from overseas to work for the summer (mostly colledge students)...
