MW is going to have a theme song! (Lyrics Contest)

So we decided on having a contest for the Lyrics and the music will be done as a compilation. So if you have lyrics post ‘em here!

:lol: This is just too weird. I have been working with an instrumental piece for guitar. Actually Im at the finally point where I smooth out the progressions before I record it.

Actually this is MOST disturbing because I created this in the `70s and never had anything I could/wanted to do with it for 20 years. so I was making a classical piece out of it for a Intro, theme...whatever song for this site. TAADAAAA! :strike:.

Well. I come online here to discuss editing and lay down a sound bite of my song and what is the FIRST thread I see? :rolleyes: :smoke: Ooooonly coincidence huh!???

Ok now, you are indicating the music is ancillary to the lyrics but I usually form the song around the music because "Words without music is a conversation (or rap) but, music without words is an orchestra" heeeey now, I LIKE that!

So what about us musicians? How do you put notes to unwhispered praises(don't make me pull out the soapbox! hehehe) If need be I'll put words to the song I am finishing or someone else can(subject to my ok for the overlay) but it was created as an instrumental and being I hold the copyright...dangit I can't belive there is anything short of hypnotic verse that will work with it. :graduate: prove me wrong.

I'll get to the clip and hopefully post it before 24 hrs. and await your decisions on us poor musicians and bards who only wish to promote this wonderful site with our unworthy and plaintively ineffectual peckings in a feeble attempt to capture the dulcit sounds of laughter and Deep Wisdom that we encounter here!
