Sweet Potato Praline Pie

1 can sweet potatoes, mashed
1 can (12oz) evaporated milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 (9inch) pie shell, unbaked

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Thoroughly blend all ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 20 minutes. Reduce temp to 350 degrees, bake 30 minutes longer. Add praline topping and bake an additional 10 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool completely on rack.

Topping:
1 1/2 c pecans, halved
1 c. brown sugar
Mix until blended
