View Full Version : PAPER: mandala, to print & color

here's a Yule mandala i made ...

i haven't been able to find a decent program for drawing black-and-white "blank" mandalas on the Mac (blank for others to color, i mean). i'm using a really old program called "Mandala." everything turns out bitmapped, so i smooth it as best as i can in Photoshop. (i'm trying to figure out a way to trace over it easily, to get really clean lines.) i've drawn 1000s of these over the years. i hope to make a coloring book someday soon  enjoy!

oops, not sure why those are different sizes. still trying to figure out how to get them to look less bit-mapped.

they aren't just for white paper ... if you print them out on darker paper, you can color them in with chalks or light colored pencils for some really interesting effects ... you can print them out on vellum or acetate and use markers or watercolor paints to make "stained glass" mandalas to hang in windows ... enjoy!
