This is a tough one for me.
I have been having recurring dreams, and in each and every one of them, I'm hiding in the woods, close to water (either I can smell it, or I can hear it).
Every time, I hear a woman screaming, in the middle of the night, but her screams of "HELP ME!" are abruptly cut off.
I see two men, medium build, white males, close cropped hair, coming out of the woods, and even though I can't hide, they can't see me. They say, "She won't talk about a damn thing now, and we know these woods better'n anybody. Ain't nobody gonna find her."
As they walk away, I hear the woman who was screaming whispering, almost right in my right ear, "Find me! Please find me!"
I turn towards the water, and she says, "I'm not there. Turn around!"
The last time I had this dream, I turned around. I started walking towards a clearing in the woods, and it turned out that I came up on a farmhouse.
Just as I was coming up to the farmhouse, it burst into flames, and burned to the ground. And the woman said, "They can still find me, I'm not in the house."
Well, I mentioned this dream, when I'd been having them for a few weeks, to a friend of mine. She nearly dropped the phone.
Turns out, there's a woman in Georgia who is missing, and the details I provided my friend turn out to be things about the area and prime suspects that if you didn't know the case, you wouldn't know. I hadn't heard word one about this case. Nothing. Nada. Zip.
Now, the dreams are starting to be more intense. What do I do? How can I find her? And once I find her in my dream, what do I do about that? Should I call Georgia Bureau of Investigations?
There are times when being psychic is somewhat of a burden, but you know, sometimes I feel like there are things I should be doing to pay back the gift, too.
