I was wondering....see, I know that Kemetic tradition has West connected with death and the underworld, and East birth and the like (as in the rising and setting of the sun)...but I was wondering if there are specific direction/element connections in Kemetic traditions and those Tarmeran practioners, do you use the traditional Wiccan associations, like North=Earth, South=Fire, etc?

All of the directions are exactly what they are, as far as Kemetic Orthodox practices go. There is no casting of circles when Kemetic Orthodox members perform magic/heka, so there's no need to associate elements and cardinal points.
(However, I haven't taken the House of Netjer's Sau class, so I don't know for certain if there is something different in "official" magical practices of our magicians and magicians in training. But I have never yet seen anything mentioning it. If anyone has learned anything different, please feel free to correct me.)
Also, there are injunctions against people performing any rites while in an unclean/impure state (bleeding wounds, open sores, having your period, feeling ill). I haven't yet determined if this is only a Kemetic Orthodox thing, or if it's considered taboo by all Kemetics. Some people have asked if there is a way to get around the menstrual cycle taboo by casting circle, but from a strictly Kemetic Orthodox perspective, the answer is no. (But while I was somewhere between Tameran and Kemetic People, I had no issues with it either way. **shrugs and smiles**)
As to what Tamerans do... It depends on which Tamerans you ask. (Just like it would depend on which Wiccan coven or which individual Wiccan solitary you ask). :)

I am not a Tameran, but the Egyptian ritual group I am involved in assigns the following:
East is Fire, South is Water, West is Air, and North is Earth.

To confuse you a bit, I actually think that the ancient Egyptians had 6 different "directions" - north, west, south, east, above and below.

The Kemetic mind also has the "ninety-degree angle" direction, and yes I'm dead serious. :) In the roughly paraphrased words of Her Holiness, its the direction by which the Seen and Unseen worlds intersect. Its all fairly mindblowing.
