Good questions....

1) Maybe that's the natural progression of the conversation...

2) Maybe it's because the majority of taxi's are yellow?

They are where I live, and they are in NYC, where I used to live. Ok, the majority of them were. Some of them were coated with exhaust crap that made them look like bondo! :D

....yet another mutation. This has nothing to do with anything, but I thought I'd throw it in.

If you stand my great-grandmother, my grandmother, my mother, and me up in a line it looks kinda like the evolution of man! Great-Granny is 4'10", Granny is 5'1", Mom is 5'5", and I'm 5'8". I am afraid of how tall my kids are gonna be! :eek:

By the way, does anyone else think this is dumb?: Carmelo is 2 inches taller than me, but he says I'm short! :confused:

Dextra, it's the same way here, 5'8" vs. 5'10 and he's always calling me shorty!

That's the interesting thing about this thread ... nothing can be off topic. BTW the taxi cabs here are small white busses and vans ... except for the two brown stationwagons. hehehehehehehhe ... mutant cabs!

the taxis here are every color of the rainbow... its very interesting at the airport and train station...

i think most of them are yellow cuz it stands out tho.. easier to see a bright yellow (dented, smashed, somtimes smelly) car than a 'regular' colored one...

(just my opinion)

Well, if you aren't getting your candy from one of those little machines (I don't even think they take pennies any more) then that's just more candy for you.

And gumballs come in lotsa colors, just like PEOPLE come in lotsa different colors!
