I read about this today, am not sure if it is accurate or not, but am very interested in it...
Apparently it's a wreath with five different coloured candles, for the four different aspects and directions and the fifth for the spiritual. Also, one lights each candle at certain times at one week intervals? And is a Celtic tradition.
Can anyone correct this, or give me more info about it?

catholics also use the advent wreath. I think its a very cute idea. Although I never practice it.

I don't know if it is a Celtic tradition. Here's how it was done within the Anglican Church (also known as the Episcopalean or the Church of England) which I was brought up in.
You have a wreath covered in ivy or similar. There are four candles on the outside. Three are deep purple, one is pink, in the middle there is a white candle, usually taller than the rest. The first candle is lit on the first Sunday of Advent, first and second on the second Sunday and so on. The white candle is lit on Christmas day. Usually a prayer is said as the candle is lit.
I have an e-mail on the subject somewhere as well.
