I go to a Catholic school and yesterday we went over to our convent (which is really old) to have confession. When I walked in I noticed there were two statues on the wall...of the goddess Lilith! I'm not even kidding! There on the wall were two statues of a woman barely clothed, with wings and holding a ring in each hand. It was her! I couldn't even believe it, especially because I was in a convent. Whoa...I wanted to say something, but I thought that I might offend someone so I kept my mouth shut. Anyone else ever have something like that happen?

Oh, neat! I can't really relate any relevant stories, but just wanted to say that sounds extremely interesting.

If you do end up asking someone about it, please let us know what you find out!

That's really interesting. I went to a Catholic school, and we had a convent too ... but I never saw any references to Lilith

From what I know about her, which is not alot, she does have some biblical references ... in the old testament?? I think ... something about her being the first wife of Adam ....

Here is an article about her

http://www.pantheon.org/articles/l/lilith.html

there should be information about her there ... :)

Hmm..yeah she's the first wife of Adam in Hebrew mythology but as far as I know, there is no reference to her in the current Bible. (Maybe I'm just reading the wrong ones =p.)
