This card symbolizes to me balance (wings), health (clothing), and of course temperance itself (finding the middle ground) (positioning of feet), and getting it all together (mixing the fluids in the cups). I believe the path leading to the crown in the background shows the road to recovery.

This card to me means ~ moderation in all things, the angel warns against excess or suggests that too much excess has been experienced and now one has to take time out and chill for a while and collect oneself.
Shes pouring the water of life between the two chalices (often black and white ~ yin and yang) to represent balance and harmony.
If this card comes up I suggest the person takes time for ~ Self reflection, inner peace, balance, silence and meditation :sunny:
Like you said Dagda ~ then they will find the road to recovery!
Here are my beautiful versions of this card form the secret and mystic tarot....

Hi all!
I see balance here. The earth behind, water before, the wings for air,the sun in back adding some fire.I see all the elements as balanced.Moving the water between the 2 chalices, looks like mixing and finding a balance. One foot on land, one foot on water. So we're looking for a path between the excesses of life.

This card is a very emotional card ~ shes just about to step into the water.
Take stock of your emotions and your own mental state and balance/work on this to harmonise your life.

This card means to trust your intution more. And that will lead to balance.
Sometimes you have to trust what you can't necessarily see

DESCRIPTION
There are certain people who exude a kind of quiet composure. They may not say much, but they go about their business with an air of calm deliberation. Their presence is comforting because they are so centered. For me, this is the energy of Temperance.
To be temperate is to show moderation and self-restraint. In a world full of enticing indulgences, it is often necessary to find the middle ground. Sensible, maybe, but also a bit boring? The energy of Temperance may seem unexciting on the surface, but it is the calm of a hurricane's eye. All around are swirling winds, but in the center is a still point that brings everything into balance.
In readings, Temperance can represent a need for moderation, especially when extreme cards are present (such as the Knights). This card can also indicate a need for balance. In conflict situations, Temperance suggests that compromise and cooperation are vital. Look for any opportunity to bring opposing parties together. In fact, to temper can mean to modify by adding a new component. By combining and recombining, we come up with the ideal mixture or solution. Temperance is the card of good health in all areas - physical, mental and emotional. When illness or dis-ease is a concern, Temperance holds out the promise of vitality and well-being.

Okay! With the sudden growth of my family (we rescued a pair of 8 week old male tiger kittens this week), this card really speaks to me.
A lot of balance represented: the golden wings spread open to the sky, the angel juggling three spheres (one golden, a silver, and one of the world?), the placement of his feet (one in the water the other on the shore), the elements represented (earth, water, air [wings or clouds], fire [sun])......
This card represents patience, allowing the time for what you want to happen, taking the time and care to make things happen.
There is a lot of balancing acts going on in this card. I would say this reminds us to have a firm foundation before trying to juggle too many things. A mild warning against stretching yourself to thin. Know what you are doing, study and learn it well before taking on responsibilities that may overwhelm you if you are unprepared.
Preparation. Balance. Patience. Allowing the time for things to come to pass. Slowing down, caution and thoroughness. Knowledge.
That's my 2 cents...
Loving the new additions to my family!! they are so cute and mischievious!! :D

Balance is right! Hit the nail on the head~ I also feel that this card has to deal with health also, notice the gown he's wearing in the Robin Wood deck Illy, reminds you of a hospital gown doesn't it?? :D
Patience too! To juggle like that, I'd need plenty of patience!! :P (robin wood deck)
