Wow! That's a fascinating list of questions and I look forward to reading many interesting replies.

I must admit though that I cannot recall having dreamed of another culture or of people speaking languages I could not understand.

Intriguing questions...

01. Rarely, but I have on occasion.

02. I'm not sure if I have or not because everything sounds like English to me, but...perhaps it only seems like English because I am speaking the language and can understand it.

03. Nope. Then again, it's rare I feel "at home" or anything in my dreams. My dreams are usually too odd for that.

04. Australian (though not aboriginee--just the "modern" culture, different from my own), Romanian (specifically, Transylvanian, what with its castles and tales of Vlad Tepes), along with some invented culture from my mind that involved "wolf men." O.o; Oh, I've also had Italian ones...

05. No, not in particular. I think those dreams are pretty random. That, or they have ties to something I have an interest in (e.g. vampires' being connected to Transylvania in Romania).

01. Do you dream of cultures you've never been to? YES
02. Do you speak their language? I'm not sure if I am speaking their language but I know I understand what they are saying.
03. Do you feel you know this place when dreaming about this culture? Does it feel as if you've lived there? I find I'm very familiar with the place. Sometimes I dream I'm working there or living there. I never just find myself visiting.
04. What cultures do you dream about? Oriental Cultures
05. Do you feel there's a particular reason why you dream about other cultures? I find myself very interested in Oriental culture, I study karate, I use Feng Shui as well. With dream of this culture I wonder if I had such a past life.

In one particular dream. I was at a business meeting. And one of the men their showed a very deep connection to me. I'm not sure if we we're romanticly involved but he was very concerned for my well being and treated me with respect with intention of love. It was a very nice dream. The place seemed to be my home and I understood everything that was said.

Ah well the dream I am refering to I thought was a past life issue. Not only was I speaking the language and and such but I was dressed as a monk no hair and when I looked at my hands it was a different skin colour and I was a male which I thought was really weird. I remember I was outsie sweeping out side in a corutyard. Then the temple I was at was attacked to and fighting as well and was surpised how well I was handling myself.... also I saw my self fighting like in third person to.

Also this dream must have had an impact on me consdiering it is now close to 9 years or so since I had it.

01. Do you dream of cultures you've never been to?
Yes, at least once a week, sometimes more.

02. Do you speak their language?
Like others, most of the time I can not tell if I am speaking their language or I just understand it. But I know a few times I have spoken in languages that are not english. Alot of times I talk out loud when I respond in my dreams and my husband says that half of the time he had no clue what I am saying but he knows I am having "one of those dreams again"

03. Do you feel you know this place when dreaming about this culture? Does it feel as if you've lived there?
I know that I know these places. I am almost 99% sure that I have lived there.

04. What cultures do you dream about?
I dream about an ancient Egyptian city, I dream about 17th century Italy in a small town, I dream about an old Nordic tribe, and an old indian village

05. Do you feel there's a particular reason why you dream about other cultures?
I believe that these are past life memories.
