Be careful with whom you study. This person may not be the best teacher for you. If there's no one else to help you, go to the books secton here and read some of them. Most of all, keep an open mind and keep asking questions.

oooh gosh I would reccomend not spending time with that guy, at least, not for a while. You need to make it clear to him that you don't want this happening. . . forgive me, but it doesn't really sound healthy. It sounds outright dangerous. I don't mean to scare you, but I have personally experienced a few spirits who said they were just "dropping by" and ended up trying to kick me out of my own body. It's not a plesant experience. Try to break away from what this guy is doing "for" (to?) you. It sounds like he's just reaching out for any spirit that wants to show up, and that's NOT a good thing. Whether you were together in a past life or not, it doesn't matter. He shouldn't be doing this kind of thing to you. Please, be cautious. Try doing a few grounding rituals and meditation, anything you think'd make you feel better. And if you get bad feelings about some things, don't do them. Trust your instincts.

Sounds like your friend is a few cookies short of cakes and ale. I've run into types like this before. Some people perceive their own mental problems as religious experiences or try to force them into some kind of magickal framework. Very sad, but even sadder when they try to take someone else along for their ride.

Like OldWitch, I'd recommend that you pursue your studies alone for the time being, or perhaps try to contact others in your area. Depending on your age, this may be difficult (my group, for example, will not teach minors unless we have permission from the parents). However, if you persist, you will eventually succeed. Check references carefully, and above all, "check not thy brain at the door."

Good luck.

perhaps the most important thing you can learn as you study this path is 'trust your intuition'!
in doing so you will also be honing those parts of the brain where magicks resides.

Sad, scary, upsetting, unbalanced... yeah. I'd also suggest staying the heck away from this guy, for sure. Maybe up your personal protection stuff too - perma circles, shieldings, wards, whatever works for you.

There's some great info in one of the stuck threads at the top of this forum that you might be interested in. What it comes down to is, if it makes you uncomfortable, don't do it.

He sounds like my friend's friend. My friend is very gullible. She is smart with The Craft and all.....but when she's with this guy she believes all he saids. He constantly tells her that she needs to learn for herself. But since he can read eyes, she thinks he has ALL the answers. Then she went through this whole quest to find this Blue Eyed guy and I gave her a Tarot Card Reading and even the cards said she needs to get over it. Well, she finally got over it. But she is still totally obsessed with this guy. People need to learn how to be their own teacher and student, all other people are just guides in life.
