The Fingers
Jupiter Finger
The Jupiter finger is the index finger on the hand. It relates to originality in politics, religion, and leadership abilities.
A long Jupiter finger (as long as or longer than the middle finger) indicates:
- A person who seeks material things and power
- Independence
- Strong Will
- Deeply spiritual
- Controlling by nature
- Strong religious and philosophical beliefs
- Great leadership abilities
This person often has a well developed ego, and when their ego is overfed, they tend to become pompous and selfish.
A long Jupiter finger is often found on religious and world leaders.
A short Jupiter finger (one that does not extend past the first phalange of the middle finger) indicates:
-Lack of confidence
-Inability to handle constructive criticism
-Caring personality
-Very susceptible to manipulation
-Need to learn to have more confidence in themselves and in their judgements.
A low set Jupiter finger (the bottom of the finger is lower than that of the middle finger) indicates:
-Low self-esteem
-Inclined to be very shy
-Little or no courage when confronted
-Eager to please
-Prefers to be a “follower”
A high set Jupiter finger (the bottom of the finger is set higher than that of the middle finger) indicates a person who will stop at nothing to reach their goals.
A level set Jupiter finger (the bottom of the finger is set evenly with the middle finger) indicates a person of high but realistic goals.
Saturn Finger
The Saturn finger is the middle finger on the hand. This finger represents the logical, the practical, and the material.
A long Saturn finger (longer than all other fingers on the hand) indicates:
-Tendency to be serious
-Great ability to concentrate and absorb study
-Emotional and financial security are very important
An extra long Saturn finger (significantly longer than all other fingers on the hand) indicates:
-Financial and emotional security are very important
-Tends to be pessimistic
-Good organizational skills
-Economically savvy
A short Saturn finger (same length as the index and ring fingers or shorter) indicates:
-A person who is prepared to take risks
-Likes to take on challenges in business ventures
-Ability to win using intuition – but also likely to lose those winnings
Famous personalities tend to have Saturn, Apollo, and Jupiter fingers of the same length.
Apollo Finger
The Apollo finger is the ring finger on the hand. This finger represents growth, luck, fame and fortune.
A long Apollo finger (almost as long, or as long as, the middle finger) indicates:
-Family oriented

An Apollo finger set below the Saturn finger indicates a person of a practical nature.
Mercury Finger
The Mercury finger is the pinky finger on the hand. This finger represents the skills needed for communication, medicine, literature, teaching and humanitarian activities.
A long Mercury finger (extends well into the first phalange of the Apollo finger) indicates:
-Curious mind
-Journalistic abilities
-Creative
-Attracts the interesting and intellectual
-Talented public speakers and teachers
-Good negotiators
-Good organizers
A short Mercury finger (extending only ½ way into the second phalange of the Apollo finger or shorter) indicates:

A very short Mercury finger indicates that there may be libido issues present that require professional help to overcome.
A Mercury finger set in line with the other fingers on the hand indicates a person who is confident, without being overly so.
A Mercury finger set low on the hand indicates a person who prefers to study and practice their numerous talents in private.
Inclining Fingers
Special notice should be taken if certain fingers naturally lean toward one another when the hands are held loosely with the palm open.
When the Jupiter and Saturn fingers are inclined (leaning) towards one another, this indicates an emotionally insecure person, who is assertive in business matters.
When the Saturn and Apollo fingers are inclined towards one another, this indicates a person who needs to satisfy family and business commitments equally in order to be content.
When Mercury and Apollo are inclined towards one another, this indicates a person who is sympathetic, a good listener, and also a sage advisor.
