Polynesian gods and spirits

Does anyone have any information on polynesian gods and the different spirits they have there. I'm interested in polynesian mythology and the gods there.

Also i read something on a site that there are 'stories' of how the Polynesian gods made way for the Christian god, Yahweh. Is this true and if it is, what did they do?

By polynesians, are you including the polynesians that migrated to the islands of hawaii? I would do a search on hawaiian gods and goddesses.

I focused on Hawaii's gods (see location) but there are plenty of web sites for other Polynesian gods as well.
