I seem to have something, whether it be a problem or a gift I am not sure, but it always seems to manifest itself when I watch a movie. I get caught for lack of a better word, and I am in the movie as a character. Yes I am aware that to that point it is normal. BUT afterwards I am still there and it takes a day or two to fully get back to reality. At times this can be an asset, but for some movies I get this Incredible homesickness or longing. I am saying all this to ask for advice and or someone to tell me I'm normal:D I would appreciate any reply:)

I get that from a good book. Afterwards, I always feel a bit disoriented & off for a bit. I rarely get that from a movie unless it's really, really good.

It depends on the movie. Like if I'm really into it, then most likely it'll happen, but if I'm bored out of my mind, then I doubt it.. :)

Yeah, that happens a lot. Making up an entire character to insert in the plot.
