I just got back from the ER, i had to take my older sister down today, and we spent over 5 hours there total... my sister has headaches, sometimes they are migraines, other times they are tension headaches... she normally gets at least 3 a week. our doctor basically ignored her when she tried to tell her, and she's on vacation now anyways. so yesterday my sister started getting a really bad headache, the worst one yet. she has a pretty high tolerance of pain, but she said that if we had a gun in the house, she would have shot herself to make the pain stop... at the hospital, she just sat in the chairs in the waiting room curled up as tight as she could be, in the fetal position, crying. so we eventually got to see a doctor, he gave her a shot for the pain, and then ordered a CT scan. that turned up fine, so there is nothing wrong with her head that would show up on the CT.. the doctor gave her a prescription for a painkiller and suggested she see a neurologist, but her schedule is so busy, she'll just keep making excuses not to go... i really worry about her, i have had to call in sick for her because she was in too much pain to pick up the phone, i know something isn't right in her head, and i want it to be better, its never any fun being in pain... any energy is appreciated.
