hullo everyone. this would be my.. 3rd post? ;)

well, i self-dedicated myself to the green path back on samhain, and i am still learning a lot. i do have the following books:

green witchcraft 1
green witchcraft 2
green witchcraft 3
all by ann moura.

i don't have any other books relating to the green path by name, but i do have several herbals, as well as scott cunningham's earth power, and earth air fire water. they are useful, yes, but i want more. (don't we always?) 8O

i wouldn't mind some title offerings on herbals, as well as websites on such as well as on the green path itself. the green board is helpful, yes, but i thought i should post this here.. since i am relatively new. 4 years ain't much. :P

i suppose that's all i can think of right now.. i'm kinda tired and wanting to do a full moon ritual tonight. :D see you in the stars!

I think you have an excellent start. I have an essay on my site about what I think Green Witchcraft is (http://willowraven.com/bos/essays/greenwitch.php), but basically I think you've got it down.

For me Green Witchcraft is about
-herbalism
-faerie magick and familiars
-folk magick and healing
-non ceremonialism
-simple rules, usually handed down from ancestors
-gemstones
-divination
-possibly meditation and astral travel, or "hedge walking"

You'll of course find the Green Room an excellent source for herbal info, some more info on Green Witchcraft around here somewhere (Magick & Rituals I think, but not sure, try using the search function), and of course you've seen the threads on Aoumiel's books in Books.

If you check out the book forum, there's a thread on books others recomended. Lots of great suggestions there too. And if you have any books you want to recomend or share about, please feel free to add your comments there too.

Ann's books are wonderful. There is a wealth of information here regarding 'green' practices. Just look around, try searching. And welcome!

i just wanted to thank everyone for posting replies to my thread. i didnt' think that it would fly, personally.. but i guess i should have thought better than that considering there's a whole board dedicated to the green craft. silly me. 8O

i have been reading more, and i just re-organised my BOS. so i should be able to start posting more about it in the green room. :P

There's also an old thread on Green witchery here somewhere. Let me see if I can find it.
