re:circle callings

This question has to do with the prior ? about cirle callings. The folks who wrote said things about
what shows up etc. My question is
how do you know when something shows up? I feel like I don't do it right because I feel just as alone after calling as before. Am I missing something?

Ya know... for me, it's kinda the opposite... I used to feel every little nuance, every energy change; every 'presence', whether it entered the circle, or hovered just outside. I guess now I just take it on faith that those I call upon attend (I can still sense them, but it takes a tiny bit of effort)... I guess I'm saying that, with some things, it's simply a matter of blind faith, & blind trust... this is one of those things... if you believe they're there, then they're there...

I agree with what Rick said.
Sometimes however, I think it's a matter of confindence. If you don't think anyone will show up, no one will. For awhile, I felt the same way. Nothing felt different, and I felt silly standing around calling to things that didn't seem to want to show up. But once I felt more confident in my abilities, it was like the flood gates had opened. It may be that you need to gain a little more confidence in your work, and/or change the way you do your rituals (since you feel they aren't working for you), before you start to really notice anything.
