Please can i ask a huge favour for a dear friend of mine whos grandson had to be born early due to his mums blood pressure..
He has been plagued with many many problems...and it keeps getting worse..

Hes in for a load of tests including a lumbar puncture as he could have an infection around his brain...and hes not doing well with breathing or feeding...

My friend is a rock for everyone else she comes across..her and her family have been through some terrible times..and this has to be the worst..

Any help would gladly be appreciated..

We went through something similar when my grandchildren were born, fortunately the only problem was that they were both very small at birth, just over 5 pounds, but otherwise healthy. I'm sorry your friend wasn't as fortunate.

ive just heard that he removed his own breathing tube..and is breathing by himself..hes also taking feeds with gusto....

and the infection? well fingers crossed!
