Hi everyone,:wave:
Was just woundering if anyone could give me advice on becoming a certified herbalist.
I have checked out a few websites but couldnt find any long distance schools (tht i could afford) and wondered if anyone could give me some adivce,as i hope to start up a buisness in this:)
i have enlisted on the art of herbalism course being run on mw but i remember someone telling me that you need a recorgnised qualificaion to get insurance etc.
any help greatly appreciated:boing: :boing: :hahugh:

OK so are just looking for long distance or would you attend at least a few weekends or something
(I'm a trainee herbalist in England and looked at every course I could find before choosing one)

They are the leading herbal society in this country and all the courses reommended are good (some better than others)
Local colleges may also run courses -which arn't as good but some do qualify you for insurance
Try to avoid courses like those of the British school of yoga - my friend did one of their courses and it was a waste of money and she couldn't get insurance after

Wonder if they are updating....as I know at least one course on there has changed recently

try emailing and asking for a list them they are normanlly good at replying
