Opinions needed on new glasses.

So after watching member after member of my family drop to maculate degeneration, I've finally surrendered to the fact that I am going blind like everyone else. I'm almost 20 and I've never had glasses before, and I'm really unsure as to whether I like these or not, can I get some opinions please?

Ah yes, the greatly hated glasses. Been there, done that... got contacts. But, I must say, you do wear glasses very well, my dear! :uhhuhuh:

I think they look good on you. And it's a lot more fun knowing where you are walking, then stumbling around like a drunken weirdo (but without the drinking).

It's really funny, because I never thought I actually needed glasses until I was driving with my dad one day. He told me to turn on a certain street, and I kept missing the turn and having to hook back around because I couldn't read the street sign at all. When my dad asked what was wrong I told him that the lettering on the street sign was too small. When we drive back around he asked me to tell him when exactly I could read it, and I could only read it from about 10 feet away, and he was like "Ok, we're taking you to the optomatrist."

I mean, it's kinda cool because I could see stuff alright before, but it feels like switching from regular old cable on an old fashioned TV to high definition on like a liquid crystal display. It's pretty cool.

Very nice, they look great on you! Your eyes are a pretty color they look blue/gray. The frames are a good choice for your face also, very nice.

i understand where you are coming from......but i can say they look very nice on you. i have had to have glasses since i was six, trust me, you get used to them after a while......i wear contacts mostly, but i dont mind my glasses

Definitely like! (Some of my glasses are that style.) They look good on you. And I think glasses can make a statement. I can't wear contacts...but there are so many kool glasses out these days I'm not fussed. The only problem I discovered when I started wearing glasses a few years ago...is it does kinda suck when it rains...tee hee (I don't use umbrellas.)
