I know next to nothing about herbs. I've never had the money or inclination to go out and buy a bunch of herbs. But that I've moved in with my roomie, I have access to a large collection of herbs and I'm not quite sure where to start. We have several herbal books (oil/incence/magical/medicinal/general) so I have resources. I'm just not sure where to start. Should I go throug hthe books with each herb; burning, eating (if safe), reading, etc. and make little mini reports on each? Should I focus on one thing (eg, burning) and go through them all?

Does it even matter? I think I make things harder then they have to be.

probably dosn't matter how you do it so long as your happy with the way your doing it

Personal I went from herb to herb - with help from my friend we did blind tastings as well (she picked a herb and then I tried it as a tea, a cold infusion and a tincture for example told her my thoughts on it and what i thought it might be good for then she told me what is was)
