how do i go up?

Everyone (pagan) tells me I'm empathic. I read the thread on levels, and figured that I am level 2. I would like to go up higher on the scale.... how can i increase my abilities, so i can be able to sense more information on the feelings i feel from other people? Any help? i tried searching, but.

The way I've done it is:

Practicing your skills at separating your feelings from others. Being totally honest with yourself is the hardest. You have to know what's yours and what's not. In order to do that, self-honesty is the key.

Knowing how, when and where you're strongest and weakest at empathizing/sensing.

Knowing who you're more able to sense.

Learning about people by actually talking, interacting, listening, watching, analzying, questioning and opening yourself up to their feelings along the way.

Watching and learning the results of what you empathize/sense with. Some times this can be hard.

Keep a journal along your lessons.
