This thread is for practicing our reading on pictures of hands.. We will study the lines in the palm as well as reading the overall hand

This is a good pic. It is large, but you can see the lines so clearly.
Better than in person.

I want to use this as a reference and I will overlay comments on it.

Here is the reference pic. If any of you are on pc, save this and see if you can enlarge it and see the lines. We will be talking about them soon

The first thing to do when reading a hand is this. Look at it. How does it make you feel? What images come to mind?

This is the way I look at art or a painting. How does it make me feel?..
Look at the reference pic and give a response as to what feeling you get when you look at it.

Well to me it made me think

strong, soft, stable and gentle

I don't know why that was just my feeling. :)

Hope,
Ty for the compliment!
While there is no right or wrong answer as to how something makes you feel, I would tend to agree with your analysis.

Trust your first thought about the hand. Then use it as a basis to build the rest of your reading.

The reference hand also has a developed Mount of the Moon, this shows intuition . An underdevolped mount here would mean not as curved or fleshy. This would then mean non-intuition or pure logic.

Also noted in the reference hand is a fully developed Mount of Venus ( the base of the thumb) which indicates passion and vitality. Underdevelopment here indicates a lack of energy. Although this person may have their energy elsewhere.

Here is a photo illustrating the relation between the hand and the body. Massaging the area in the hand that corresponds to a area in the body is known as reflexology.

Is it a suprise then that the lines in the hand correllate to an area in the body?

The major mounts of the Palm.

We will discuss each one in turn. Hopefully Ill get a few done this weekend.

Now take a look at the plain hand (the reference). Trace out the mounts on the hand and look for where one begins and ends. You can do this on your own hand as well. You will see the mounts if you look closely. I have drawn reasonably accurate outlines of the mounts. Although Uranus Neptune and Pluto are missing. But we will get to those later, they (Uranus Neptune and Pluto) are mounts of rapid change.

The mount of Love.
What I find interesting is the position of the mount of Venus and the location of the sexual organs on the hand.
Look at the reflexology chart and then look at where the reproductive organs are. They are located at the base of the mount of Venus. So a large and developed Mount here indicates.....PASSION!
On the other hand (no pun intended) an undeveloped mount is a lack of passion or on the cool side ....but hey everyone has their days, right??...lol

Ok so I can see a marked difference in my left hand and right hand in the Mount of Venus. ( Don't feel like you have to hold back or be polite) So does that mean I have more passion now?

Also I am 35 so is that something that could continue to change in my right hand or is it pretty set at 30 or whatever.

Also passion??? are we talking sexual passion or passion for life/work/family/whatever??

Oh and my other question was when teenagers feel really passionate about things ie: the oppposite sex (he is the only one I will ever love) does the passion part of their hand change from when I hate me I will never date again.

Yes I have a teenage daughter.:)

Thanks!

Hope, what kind of differences?. And which hand looks like what?

The hand will change according to the DNA instructions.
DNA just runs the program from the brain. It is very hard to change. The reason is that you continually use feedback from the past, this causes walls to built. These walls are: Attitudes, habits, "who you think you are" etc .

Also passion??? are we talking sexual passion or passion for life/work/family/whatever?? The mount of Venus is about sexual passion...love.

Oh and my other question was when teenagers feel really passionate about things ie: the oppposite sex (he is the only one I will ever love) does the passion part of their hand change from when I hate me I will never date again.
LOL ..the mind (subconscious) is not that fickle. Its a good thing, because I remember saying "I wish I were dead" before.

We are learning about a being that is us, but one that is very mysterious. (subconscious) We cannot make any of these changes with our conscious mind. The body only changes via instructions from the subconscious. The conscious hand (your dominate one) is the way it is because the subconscious makes it that way. It is most impartial

I hope (no pun intended) that answers your questions hun.

My right hand seems fleshier and more of a mound, the left hand is flatter with kind of one raised area thru the middle of it where the right looks more of a mound.

The number of lines going over the area seems the same on both palms.

Hope,
The class isnt over, but I stopped posting because of lack of interest. It didnt seem as though anyone was interested in it.
But I will post more as long as there are questions.

On your hand. I read differences in two hands this way:
If you are right handed;
The left is the past and what you were born with.
The right is the present and future and what you have done with what has been given to you.
If your right hand has a more developed mount than that of your left, then you have become healthier during your life. Perhaps childhood sickness?

Of course if you are left handed the opposite is true!

Ok I am really going to try and sit down and work through all this tonight.
I am very sorry Moon if I gave you the impression I wasnt interested ~ I am very, I just found the lessons went too fast after the first week or so and I couldnt keep up... sometimes I have time to spend here but sometimes with work, readings for people and life I cant find the time.. and the longer you leave something the harder it gets.
Maybe my hand will say something about my concentration and commitment levels ;)

Please keep up these great lessons! and I will be discussing them and joining you all very soon.

Like Hope ~ My Mount of venus is more rounded fleshy on my right hand and my left is fleshy still but a differnet shape altogether more like an oval than roundand has lots of dips and wrinkles where the thumb creases. My right doesnt have many creases or wrinkles at all Im assuming that this is the Mars Active area and in my left hand it isnt active but in my right it is?
I did have a difficult childhood which would certainly tie in with why my Mount of Venus is different on my left than now/present on my right as I have healed and grown allot since then.

Hi Moon,
I think you were asking Hope but Im butting in ;)
Ive just recently discovered Im pregnant :D & mine is very frim and active at the moment, I think allot firmer than it was before, its like my Mount of Venus has merged with the Mars and now they are as one ~ is this good?
And can you tell me any other good things to look out for with regards to the baby?
Thanks

Ok well on my right hand (I am right handed) there is an X on the active mount of mars it way towards the thumb also there are some really long lines going toward the palm

Frankly :) it seems to be a bit of a flap of skin that kinda just lays there no real bump up or anything significant

I really need to figure out how to scan my palm! So i can send it to you.

ALSO!!! I am so glad you are back and asking questions I have missed you, and I felt guilty that you were just doing this for me so I am VERY glad SV has made some time too!!!!

Hope if you set your scanner to the highest resolution and then trim it (if needed) to an image of around 700k ...there should be no problem. email me at mastermoon3@cox.net
