For my son Sylvan

I am just getting ready to take to the hospital while I was in my room cleaning a few mintues ago, he was doing something in the toy area next thing I hear him crying he comes into the room blood coming out of his mouth and just panicked it looks nasty but his bottom lip is split and he has two teeth not where they should be. He is right now taking turns with all the towels he can find trying to stop the bleeding and is panicked so please if ya can join me in sending my little guy some calming energies I sure would appreciate it. He is lying on my bed right now so I am going to go cuddle with him till we can get a way up to the hospital.

Ok I just was rubbing his head and cleaning away more blood and ya it looks like he riped the one tooth away from the gum .. he is doing now is resting and whimpering .

Well it looks like there is only the one tooth to be really concerned about after all, the gum is brusied and was bleeding pretty heavily till a few minutes ago, and suprisingly even though the tooth was knocked back it is still in there pretty good so I am relieved somewhat. As for the other tooth it looked like it had been moved a bit to but it also looks chipped. Every time Sylvan tells me what is wrong he says ow ow ow my tooth. So I hope we can get to the drug store before it closes for some pain medicine for him.

And his lip has a big slpit in it and three other small ones he has had a spilt lip like this before but not sure what they would do and it is still bleeding a bit.

Anyways just waiting for the girls to get their coats on then we are out of here. And if I can I will be back on later and if not in the morning to let ya know what the doctor says.

And he is very calm right now to getting ready thanks everyone :D I am hoping it will stay that way he does not like docotors usually especially if it is not ours so keeping fingers crossed and energy going later .

Something similar happened to my first granddaughter when she was less than a year old, my daughter called me in a panic. I didn't have a cell phone then and was in a dither about whether to head out the door for the 30 minute drive to their house or stay on the phone with her and talk her though putting pressure on to stop the bleeding and all that. Thankfully pressure did the trick, but it sure scared all of us.

Ok we just got home and well I will post more later we had agreat walk home ans Sylvan was so energetic he walked all the way in the snow and dark with no problem so time for dinner more later :wave:

he could not eat his pizza which really made him upset so he was trying to eat spagehtti for dinner and he is upset he hurt his lip now and he is sitting on my bed with his mouth open looking dazed, poor little guy was given polysporn for his lips but I am heistant to use it.

He keeps saying it is bleeding and that he has hurt his foot, I think that was from when he feel when we got home ...

Aww your all so sweet thanks.
After I made my last post we gave him some pain medicine and I was playing the arcade I had Ozzy Osbournes version of staying alive on real player and for some reason he stodd up and started bouncing on the bed and was happy till he fell face first whimpered and cried for all but a minute or so then back up he went and resumed bouncing happily ,then he went out to the lving room to watch some tv with his sisters and dad then came back into my room shared somecandy with me and then went to sleep... right now he is tossing and turning alot.

Thanks for your help everyone he is his chipper self this morning except he hurt his lip when Suki was bouncing on the bed and bumped into him but otherwise he is ok. the swelling in his lip is almost all gone..

As for his time at the hospital last night considering we were there for over an hour waiting for the doctor he did very good he was not happy when the nurse flashed the light in his eyes and she raised her voice a bit to get him to listen to instructions other thent that he was so good.

I had to clean his lip again a couple of times cause it strted to bleed again which upset him but after that all he wanted to do was get off that hipsital bed and go potty, or go talk to dad, or go get dinner... he was so chatty.

Anyways the doctor checked him and he did very well except when his tooth got moved and then as soon as the doctor stopped he was fine.

So when I get him to a dentist I will let ya know what happens.

And I just checked his lip a few minutes ago and it still a bit of a bump and the cut area is pure white and healing he had some stuff stuck to it earlier and fortunalty when I pulled it off the scab did not come off.
