Hey I'm studying to be a Wiccan and it all makes sense but it dosen't seem exactly right for me. Is there any type of paganisime other than druidry that is similar to Wicca? Cuz theres something missing that dosen't bring me as close as I want to it. My expectations are always high sometimes unusually high, but when it comes to spirituality my expectations HAVE to be met.I know you guys don't know much about me so you can't find one that will suit me best but if you name a few I'll research them and see if it helps!Well thanx if you can help!

All i can say is.. read, read, read..... and experience.... and keep on looking till you find what feels right. If you are putting out the energy, you will find the right path. It quite likely won't happen right away... but eventually, like in the myths and fairy tales, you *will* find the right path... which is the path that is right for you. If anyone tries to tell you they can hand it to you on a platter.... well.... you've read the fairy tales, haven't you? bb talamh

welcome, my friend. ^_^
Remember something; Paganism is all about YOU. Finding what's right to you. Try modifying Wicca to what you feel it should be. Try your own practices, "mix and match." You can be one of a kind and still quite fine. Just find what feels right to you. It doesn't even need a name.

Well.
There's general Paganism, which can include any deities, principles, and beliefs you want (basically it means you're not Christian, Jewish, or Muslim).
Witchcraft is usually thought of as the practice of magick (often folk magick) by itself or with another religion such as Wicca etc.
There's Shamanism which varies depending on the culture, but usually seems to revolve around animals and hedgewalking (astral travel etc.) and they were often thought of as "medicine men".
Druidry can be explored better in our Druids forum.
There's also Asatru and Odinism which you're best to ask MW member Rick about, but I guess you can see it's about Norse deities etc.
There's Stregheria, which is basically Italian Witchcraft including usually work with Diana and Pan and a lot of folk magick>
North American Paganism which is variable according to what group of NA's you work with and will include myths and beliefs from that tribe, etc.
Then there are Celtic trads including Y Tylwyth Teg with teachings in Cymry Gwyddon and Celtic Wicca.
Hellenic Paganism focuses on Greek deities.
It would be impossible to put a really good synopsis of all of these here right now, but maybe this gives you some things to think about. What kind of deities, myths, and principles do you want to work with, if any at all?

Also, you can study all the books and magickal theory you want, but don't neglect to study yourself so it will all make even more sense!
