 hi everyone this is my first post in this phenomenal informative message board and I been strolling through the messages and was wondering if someone could help me out......

there is a book by Janina Renne called Tarot Spells with affirmations/meditations and tarot card to help you get to your wish/wishes whatever it may be...now I have to be honest....I been unemployed for 2 years was laid off from my decent gov't job and since then been I have collected many spells for my BoS but have only perform a few spells because I don't live on my own (live with family who are not to kind to the no no craft as they call it or as my mom and dad so eloquently put it the evil stuff). I'm 30 years old and hide my spell chest and Bos in the trunk of my car....I guess my spirits been a bit ripped up and not sure if this book can deliver the stuff I need..which is a job....plain and simple. I have been suffering form TMJ and the reason why its taken me so long to find a job is because I get very severe migraines from the pain in my teeth and gums.....and I can not work on thephones or speak on the phones cause the pain is BAD......sorry for getting off the topic.... but

Bottomline has any1 used this book or has had any success with it.....because I don't have th money to buy the book but I am gonna head off and sit down at a book store and copy one or two spells that caught my eye for job interviews and such.....

I don't use spells all the time only when its necessary and I have no other means of solving whatever the problem or situation maybe...any information or help is greatly appreciated...thanks...

I have that book. I have used it, twice, it worked. I don't use it often because I also don't do spells often. They worked well enough. Good luck :hahugh:

btw, WELCOME! I can relate to the need to hide yourself. I'm lucky to have a boyfriend how supports and encourages me to practice!

Welcome to MysticWicks!

I've got the book too. It's really good. I like to make up my own spells and this book has given me a lot of great ideas. I find that the spells I cast using Tarot cards always work really well.

So I am guessing this book does have a success rate that's good to know about to fork over 20 bucks to get it....

thanks temptation and sidney and thank you for the welcome....

I tend to make things up as I go along ... I find that a lot of the time spells that are in the books are not sufficiently targeted toward what I need.

That's true too. The great thing about the tarot magic(k) is that it can be modified to suite specific needs. It's a great tool to have!:boing:

 Got another quick ?....I want to try the general love spell and the job spell....now the love spell is asking for 13 candles to be used in this spell.....here's my problem could I stick to using 2 candles to represent me and my whomever I want to represent in that candle......

I got a family that would cringe and be very angry with me if they found this book or any spell craft ingredients lying around in the house like 13 red candles...its just too much.....

any one have any suggestions I already hide my spell books and spell ingredients in my car and practicing on certain moon cycles when no one is in the house is pretty impossible.....

help....LOL

thanks for any advice.....

Just do what I do, use the book for inspiration and make up your own spells. You don't need 13 candles just because the book says so. Use however many candles you feel will make your spell most efficient. If you feel that two candles are enough, then use two candles. :)

Does the book say why it suggests 13 candles? Thirteen sounds a bit excessive to me.

The author must get a kickback from a candle manufacturer.

13 is one of many magick numbers. It represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. Its also used in protection, purification and uncrossing rituals. I try to think of it as my lucky number :) Besides, superstition made it unlucky....Christians saw Judas as the 13th deciple, therefore unlucky.

Wolf => hun :crylaugh: kick back from candle manufacturer you are way too funny.....

Faeawyn=> I see what your saying about the symbolic siginificance of the number 13 but truth be told if I used 13 candles in the house everyone who lives with me would be suspicious of what I am doing and why....I got magic spell haters that I live with in the house (I have to hide my BoS and spell ingredients in the back of my car)...can't afford to live on my own...so the family home is it for me...been unemployed and laid off from my job for awhile now.....been searching 24/7

Temptation =>I hear what your saying sweets...will try my own design of this love spell.....lets hope it works lately my spells have gone

I just have to buy another set of tarot cards since the ones I am using I just blessed with the cleansing/or opening invocation spells......

thanks so much you guys are the best.......... :)

Why not do some healing spells to ease your TMJ and then some job finding spells? I think a great spell would be to write your resume and then charge it with energy before you turn it in.
