This is very odd for me. I am new to the pagan community. I am asking that you all pray for my daughter and niece. We have just discovered that thier uncle molested them and i fear the struggle that they may go through emotionally. I need strength also. I pride myself in being a very attentive parent. and for some reason i feel guilty. I have neevr let anyone but family watch my children as i have very little trust for people in society. After all the thought i put into this subject and being confident of my decision that noone but family would ever be caretakers of my children, it turned out to be someone in my family who violated them. I wonder if there were any signs. should i have known? should i have suspected? maybe this is the wrong place to be talking about this. but please keep them in your prayers

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts. Maybe posting this in the family forum might help if you would like some discussion on this.
May the Great Mother keep you and and give you strength to deal with this situation.
Let it be so.

You have my prayers and my sympathies, for I am a molestation victim myself, at the age of five, by my own uncle. You have my faith and support.

Many people feel guilty in this type of situation, wondering why they didn't see it or what they could have done. Molesters are very manipulative and it is often difficult to identify the abuse. If this continues to bother you, seek some counseling or at least someone to talk to. You might find a support group through your local mental health center, hospital or child protective services. The only thing you can do now is to give the family and the babies your support. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

MM,
I am new to this place but as for what happend. I am very sorry and will keep them in my prayer's. as for was there any sighn's to watch for all I can say is did they ever seem like they did not want to go? or did it seem strange when you took them there and told them that? There are some sighn's but not everyone show's them. if they act any bit different when you are akeing them there then you would be takeing them somewhere else? what was their reaction's when you brought up that familly member's name? or when they knew that person was comeing around, But to be honest with you I know what that's like because there is a man in my familly that admitted to wanted to have entercourse with me. and he is a widely known and trusted person and I dont say a word. if there's anything else you need feel free to talk to me and e-mail me ok
