i'm very interested in the astral familiars but i dont know where to start. i searched the past threads but it didnt really help me much..anyone can give me advices?.maybe can drop a pm if ur willing to teach? thx

Research meditation as this is your first step to gaining access to the astral plane.

You may also want to check into astral projects, as well as familiars in general to find more info.

Affirmations work quite well as well saying "I will astral to my familiar" over and over or the like eventually when you drift off to sleep it will happen, eventually, took me about 3mnths of meditation, affirmations and visualisation exercises before I started getting anywhere in my dream workings Ive been really slack of late though so will probably need to start from scratch again my concentrations just not there anymore lol

Regarding astral familiars.. i assume you need to learn astral projection first. In this case I would highly recommend Robert Bruce's "Astral Dynamics" as well as the 90 day guide to Out of Body Experiences.. by Bruce and other author.
