i got this as a "reported post", while i may disagree with some of mystique's ideas she has a right to them and to speak about them while she respects the right of others to disagree with her. she posted two urls. you have the option of not looking at them if you think they might be annoying. i see no reason to "moderate" here.

Thanks Mystique you just helped me prove a point that I made in The Political Pagan forum: EVERYONE WANTS TO BE THE VICTIM. No one is willing to move on. But go ahead and keep wallowing in self pity, boo-hoo they did this to ppl years and years ago so I'm going to b!tch about it now waaaaa.

Ok, how about this..

The only community rule here at MW is respect everyone's path and right to follow them. Being a former Christian and someone who still very much respects Christianity and practices some parts of it I felt the first URL has no place here at all. Continuing to harp on mistakes made decades and centuries ago *and* touting those who defame the beliefs on others on a forum meant to help people find respect, help, and harmony is preposterous.

I feel that posting bs including a poster used in a ritual to desecrate and defame a church does nothing but destroy any credibility or respectfulness of anyone involved and anyone who supports it. How would you like it if someone came to your home and pissed all over your altar? This is exactly what the first URL is touting.

This is the kind of bs that makes people tune out from listening to Pagans who "don't persecute". It's the kind of thing that convinces people all Pagans worship Satan and desecrate Gods home and works. It's disgusting. If there was a warning posted I never would've visited the damn thing.

These people who actively desecrated and defamed a church out of hatred are no better then the terrorists who took the lives of thousands of people, or the people who used hatred and greed as an excuse to torture and kill. Talk about hypocrisy - "we are going to perform a crime in hatred because you performed crimes against us a century ago in hatred". It's as bad as "oh you kill babies, you need to be killed".

How is it helping earth to breed and propagate negative energy? These are the kind of people who contribute to war, crime, and hatred. They are even more disgusting because they have the gall to pretend they're doing it for the good of earth.

my thoughts exactly. I get so tired of hearing about 'christian oppression' in this vein. Those who plaster 'remember the burning times' everywhere they can never seem to remember that pagans have persecuted christians too (as in the roman 'games), and that the 'witches' of salem were christians.

It is always important to remember history - but to learn from it and aid our development as a spieces, not to use it as a reason to fuel more hatred.

This Community will not support any hatespeech against another Path. Therefore the links to that site have been removed and this thread is now closed.

In retrospect I would like to say something my Mother always use to tell me. "Son, two wrongs dont make a right."
