What are your favorite "OLD" movies, as in ...Pre 70's?
Mine are "Love Affair to Remember", "To Sir With Love", "Guess who's coming to dinner", "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "To Kill a Mockingbird", the original "Hound of the Baskervilles", and of course, "The Wizard of Oz".

I love most old movies! Especially the old musicals. And the old Elvis Presley movies. And all the Bing Crosby ones. But I think my all-time fav would be Bell, Book, & Candle!

'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir' was one of the first that popped into my mind (i LOVE Gene Tierney).
and of course 'Casablanca'. 'The Wizard of Oz' is another. 'The Postman Always Rings Twice'.
a little more modern would be 'Zulu'. 'Dr. Strangelove'.
and ANYTHING by Hitchcock (especially 'Rebecca').
oh, and 'King Kong'.
and who could forget 'The Treasure of Sierra Madre' or 'The Maltese Falcon'?
okay, one more... 'The Birdman of Alcatraz'.
oh yeah, 'Spartacus'.
and, and.....

The Thin Man Series of movies and all the old Hammer films.........Oh! anything with Vincent Price.
As you can tell, I love horror movies. There was one Godzilla movie that was a favorite of my sister and I. I cannot remember the name of the nemesis Godzilla faced, but there was a great fuzzy brown and green one.........one was good and one was bad. The bad one ate people, and to our everlasting delight, SPIT OUT THE CLOTHES! Now that was third grade realisim! We thought it was hilarious. .....now that I think of it......we may have been a couple of sick kitties. ;)

I love Charlie Chan movies, too. I know, not P.C. considering he was never played by an Asian. Tarzan movies, but only the Johnny Weissmuller ones.
And ANY Buster Keaton movie. The man was a genius. He made
Charlie Chaplin look like a bit player.
