i didn't know where else to put this.. and flar7 suggested that i stick it on this board.
lately, i've been having dreams where i have been taking tests. there have been 3 thus far.
1) the mansion dream. in this one, i was walking along a road when 2 men on horses came up to me. one was blonde and was riding a brown mare. there was a darker, surly man riding a black horse. the blonde man looked at me and asked me if i knew how to ride. i, of course, didn't. next thing i know, i'm behind him on the horse, holding onto his waist.
later, we get to a house though i dunno how long it took. we did 3 tests there. the first one was the blonde man, and i know we passed it, i just don't know how. the second one was for me. this one i remember. i was in a bathroom.. and there was a copy of myself sitting there, with no shirt on. the 2 men were with me, btw. well, i mimicked the other me and took my shirt off. suddenly, i saw this big fungus thing with a face beside the other me. i had a billfold in my hand that the surly man had given me. well, on one side there were shuriken (throwing stars) and on the other side there were vials of glowing green liquid. i tried throwing the shuriken at the fungus thing, but they either bounced off, or stuck in the thing. then, i tried the glowing liquid. that worked.. it exploded. i passed that one.
the third test in that dream was for the surly man. we were trying to help him escape the physical (and stereotypical) form of death. the black-robed figure with the skeletal pointing hand. we got him out, though i don't remember how. then i woke up.
2) the ghost dream. in this dream, it was like a video game. there was a central room with portals leading off of it. my husband-to-be was there with me. i went, alone, into a portal the ended up being filled with ghosts. i had to use a ring that was on my right index finger to destroy the ghosts. these ghosts were mean little things. i got through them all and i got to the last one. the ring didn't work. i tried pressing down on the ghost with the finger with the ring. it made the part of my finger from the middle knuckle to the tip hurt really bad. but then the ghost was destroyed. i passed that one.
the second part of that dream was in another portal. it was a hospital room and on one wall, there was a long line of female vampires standing against the wall. on the ceiling were hundreds of bats. there was one bed, and my future hubby was chained on it, face down. i went over to him and sat on the bed, asking him if he was okay. suddenly, i was in his arms and it wasn't my fiance. i was being bitten by the vampire that was pretending to be my fiance.. and then i woke up, feeling like i had failed that vampire test... and my finger was tender where it hurt in the dream.
3) the sword dream. this last one is rather short, and only has one part. i was standing at the bottom of an escalator that led up to a long and thin platform. up there was a friend from back in high school that didn't email me back after i had told him i was pagan. i was supposed to fight him to get this sword. i didn't want to fight him. he said i had to. i said no. i ended up not fighting him.. and i still got the sword. this thing was HUGE! it was long and thin, like the platform, and about 5-6 feet long! i hefted it on my shoulder and walked down the escalator. i woke up feeling like i passed.
