Well, for those of us in the antipodes, Lughnasadh is (fast) approaching. I just wanted to make a suggestion for a celebration, particularly for those of us who do not host formal rituals; make an act of charity. One of the major themes of Lughnasadh is sacrifice, so why not make a donation? I finally did it, and subscribed to MW! Help a good cause.
Ok, that being said and all.... what plans do people have for Lughnasadh? It gets lonely celebrating the Sabbats opposite to our Northern Hemisphere counterparts, we need to connect!

I'm going to pick fruit (harvest season is starting), start throwing away bad habits, give honour to Goddesses, and sacrifice some of my money to charity.
I'm also going to bake some food from the fruits harvested.

I'll probably keep my celebrations rather simple this year.

Yeah, my approach to Sabbat celebrations is notably "hedge-witch" in style... I prefer to perform a small offering and prayer rite to my patron God and Goddess, ask for their blessings, thank them for their blessings, spend some time "reconnecting" with Nature and the Divine.
Sounds like everyone has good plans!

Yeah, I like laid back plans.
