Any other Pagans out there without cats?? I think I might be the only one. I don't have anything against them, I always had cats growing up....but my boyfriend is deathly allergic to them and I'm more of a dog person anyway. Love dogs, can't live without 'em!!! Any others out there?

I loathe cats. Can't stand the little buggers.

I have 2 phenomenally stupid dawgs, though.

But I miss my old dawg, Bowser. :wah:

Heart cats, but have none. I'm a terrible housekeeper with a small apartment and a somewhat erratic schedule. While I'd love to have some furry friends, even caring for a cat is more maintenance than I think I'm capable of right now. Maybe someday.

Nope, I have cats. Three of them. Well, two, and then a family one that has latched on to me and will probably go with me.

No cats. No pets actually since my beta Thai-Dye passed on. Sigh. Love dogs. Love cats. Too many allergies.

I don't think I'm allowed NOT to have cats! Every time the last one goes... another one shows up at my door step!... LOL

I have no cats at the present! I've only ever had one, and my parents stole her when I moved out, and then she died of old age about a month ago. I'd like to have another cat, but my husband and I differ in opinions. He doesn't believe that the kitty should be indoor only, and I refuse to allow a cat outdoors near our busy street. Thus, we have no kitty!

As you might guess from my avatar and sig, my sister (who is also a witch) and I are definitely not cat-free. We have seventeen, all of which we've taken in after a background of abuse or neglect by previous owners. We love 'em! :hugz:

I prefer things that go "Arf!" in the night as opposed to things that go "Righteous-eye-scratching-fury!" in the night. :2G:

Completely Animal free and I like it that way. Animals are great, as food....

After the deaths of our elderly cats, we waited a while before adopting a kitten from a local farm. But this little guy is BUGGERS - I mean absolutely insane. I guess my point here is that I'll be cat-free as soon as I snap and mail this furred demon off to Timbuktu! *said affectionately as said demon climbs her leg*

Yay!! At last, another pet-free pagan! :boing: :boing: :boing:
I really did think I was the only person (never mind pagan) in the whole world who can't see any reason whatsoever for keeping an animal as a pet. They're fine for protection and/or pest control. But as companions?? Babies??? :veryweird Yuck! What's wrong with having another human as a companion, if you need one?
I'm veggie, btw, so I don't even need animals for food.

I've always had a cat, until a year ago. We gave our cats up for adoption before we had our son, 'cause we couldn't keep them out of the crib!

Love em, but don't have room for them right now. When we get a house, we'll probably get a kitten (when the kidlets are older too). And a puppy. :) I love em all.

I have 2 kitties and 1 puppy. I would have alot more, but my hubby says no. I had 25 cats growing up, all outside. I am convinced I am going to be the crazy lady with a million cats when I get older. They will be everywhere! lol As for human companionship vs. animal companionship, I am married, but unable to have a child of my own and adoption takes a long time. So, to fill the void and to satisfy my mommy urges for now, I have my furbabies.

I think that any cat under 100 lbs may just be the most vile evil retched things on the planet. So, needless to say I don't have any. Luckily, when my kids ask for a cat, I can use the excuse that the oldest child is allergic.

No cats anymore; my last cat passed on about 4 years ago. Since then I realize that I'm definitely more of a dog person, my old geezer will be 10 in April and he's a trip! I don't dislike cats, but there aren't many of them that I'm actually fond of (I can actually only think of 1 at the moment that I really like) and I find litterboxes in the house repulsive; I'd rather pick up outside after a 100 lb dog any day. Oh and I'm now somewhat allergic to some cats, but not all.

I had a cat for a short time that I had found as a stray in a trailer park I was doing security work at. Unfortunatly poor Yomiko was to wild to keep so I gave her to one of those no kill shelters.

Cat free, but only because of my husband's allergies. My two fur-babies (Karma and Kismet) stayed in TX with my mother.
