View Full Version : Doesn't it feel great when a spell works?

Yeah. Definitely a good feeling ^_^

I did a spell to help me find a job. I put all my energy into it and even during the time I was doing it, I knew it was powerful and that it would work.

It's funny how spells work sometimes though. After my interview, which went very well, I was supposed to get a call back by the end of the week, and when I hadn't I kind of lost hope, but then 2 days later it came. I guess sometimes spells try to "trick" you that way

I think my gods are with me in this endeavor. They are very big on self sufficiency and independence. And this is something my siblings and I have a hard time with, with the way the family is. I get this feeling that my gods are going to help me with this

It's a great feeling when you know a spell has worked.

Funny, I just had up a thread asking about this. YES!!!!!!!!!! :D It really DOES boost you no end when you KNOW you did something that worked!

I was asking about this because I have a client who needs a spell done. Actually, she hasn't committed yet, & I don't blame her - it's complicated & serious. But I need to have some reassurance that things DO work if you try hard enough - I started out "gratis" for her, just putting a prayer tablet in my holy Sulis water. (I am imitating the method used long ago by the Romano-Celts in Britain supplicating this Goddess.) Guess what? She has won her case! (It's a child support case with a lot of layers to it - as I said, complicated.) I really want to help her very much, but I only just started to do this professionally, so my confidence isn't super-high. Oh, I've seen my magic work! My sister got 2 jobs & a house out of it! :D That was partially self-motivated, though - I wanted to move in with her. This enabled me to do so. The 2nd job was kinda an emergency measure for the both of us, too.

I've done some other things for other people. Someone got the money they wanted for some real estate. I have been doing talismans that I have sold here, to some rave reviews!

I guess I'm just a little nervous about the money element. If it were for free, I'd do it, I'm sure it would work & that would be that. Money changing hands really commits you to making it work - there is something at stake for the client.

Well, I don't expect many here to be "professionals" like me - it's unusual. Some people have trouble with the concept - even reading Tarot (which is mainly what I do) is troublesome for some when money comes into it.

Oh well, to each his/her own! I wish you many successful spells!

Yep, it's pretty damn great when some spell works in a rather blatant and obvious fashion, isn't it?

Congrats everyone on happiness with your magic. ^_^

Ren I am pretty much in the same situation as you mentioned, I just haven't tried to cast a spell yet.. For some reason I get the feeling I should just stay home while I still can; like my gods are pushing me down and saying, "Pay attention to this now." lol

Oh and I love it when my spells work. ^_^ Nothing like knowing your personal will power can create REAL things in the physical world.

It is indeed a wonderful feeling, even though the waiting can drive you to this: :awilly:

Excellent sweety! You know this statement you made just here is IMO the most important part of why spellwork and magic works! When in your heart and mind you are resolute that its working and going to work as your doing it...thats the stuff that feuls and catalyzes the rest of the ingredients in a spell.

Hehehe yeah sometimes the Universe doesn't exactly work on our schedule...I tend to think that its simply that it has to bring multiple schedules into sinc to work together to bring your finished product into being. And sometimes I think it likes to let us feel that we failed just to surprise us...

How VERY right you are...that feeling is wonderful and worth every effort we have to put forth to conquer and succeed in our lives. Congratulations!!!

Nothing like sitting back and enjoying the rewards for the success you create! _cloud9_

Blessings and Joy to You!

I can always tell when my spells work. The whole room feels refreshed, and I always feel like I'm on top of the world!!

Although the Goddess was giving me crap this afternooon when I neglected to use a brand new white candle that I had found earlier today, preferring instead to use an older one that had seen quite a bit of use. She told me that she didn't want to see that ratty old thing again, and if I knew what was good for me, I'd swear to use that brand new one in my bedroom!!

She makes me laugh.
