Actually I'm happy as long as the colors are rich. Pastels suck. As one of the people with vision problems, I would ask for more contrast, its really hard to read this stuff except in a dimly lit room.

You mean this is supposed to be purple? All along here was me thinking it was gray on gray. My ideal color combination would be blue like Lapis ( probably my favorite stone) with gold sparkles. But please high contrast. One color I don't want to see: lime green, and and hot pink... two, two colors I don't want to see, lime green, hot pink, and ORANGE... THREE colors I don't want to see. Better go, my brain hurts.

Plaid as a polotician's favorite color....well officially, yeah, but when you get right down to it LOL everye has personal preference :) so he or she may have a favorite color but he has to sacrafice his views for what the voters want, or at least what the "most votes" wants anyways.....

There seems to be some negativity and paranoia popping up in this debate. Scaremongers are trying to tell you that unless you vote for their color that something BAD might happen to you. I prefer to seek the high ground myself, but its useful to remember that just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they aren't out to get you.

Take Orange for instance. I like to think positive thoughts about orange but then I think about Northern Ireland and all the troubles there, between the Orange Men and the Green. Now I try to not draw conclusions just because the partisans of these two colors have killed hundreds, blown up buildings and are responsible for numerous acts of terrorism for over 30 years. These people who support those colors would have you believe that they are in no way responsible for these wonton acts of violence, but don't you often see them engaging in food fights in Chinese Restaurants around the world? Just because you haven't only goes to show you how clever they are at hiding it. I'm sure that they are all good people, but keep your doors locked on March 17 anyway, just in case.

Brown, just because Hitler's Stormtroopers wore brown, and he had brown hair and Saddam Hussein lives in Iraq which has a lot of brown in the ground, shouldn't lead you to suspect that those people who vote for brown are in some way sympathisers even if they think that the world should be brown, and are suspected to greet each other with an upraised hand in greeting and the secret password "Brown Uber Alles" We shouldn't draw hasty conclusions from this.... probably

Its also been implied by certain ruthless rumor mongers that there is some connection between the color Purple, and the reputed crash of an alien space craft in Roswell, New Mexico. To draw any conclusions that just because you often here purple supporters humming "PURPLE PEOPLE EATERS" and what some claim are peculiar eating habits thought to have been overheard by certain possibly reputable persons who asked not to be named, doesn't necessarily mean that they have some ulterior motive. Why the other day, a friend was invited for LUNCH by one, and IF I see them again, I'll ask how it was.

Yellow is a cheerful color, maybe TOO cheerful. I'm sure its an innocent color, but I keep wondering what they mean by "THE YELLOW PERIL" Nothing, I'm sure, likewise with possible connections with the outbreaks of YELLOW FEVER, YELLOW BELLIED COWARDS, as I'm sure that when your back is turned, they can be as brave as anyone else, and scurrilous Ÿellow Journalism"..

Black Plague, Black Flag, often seen with skull and crossbones. Just because most crime is often committed when its black outside, I'm SURE its just INNOCENT FUN, just because black holes will ONE DAY SUCK THE WHOLE UNIVERSE INSIDE, doesn't mean that these afficionados of BLACK are hoping to speed up this process by making everything black now. Just because they say other colors SUCK, doesn't mean that we need to ask "BY WHAT?"

I don't want anyone to think that any of these people who espouse the other colors dislike purity, clean water and air, a refreshed planet, that BLUE represents, even though they oppose blue as a color, despite its obvious beneficial connotations to all life in the universe, and everything decent, while supporting the "other" colors, we shouldn't imagine that they would cause us any harm. However an extra deadbolt on the doors and a couple big dogs in the yard, would not be a bad idea. I'm SURE that they are PROBABLY decent people, more or less, most likely. You can draw your own conclusions about that, but why take a chance?

Vote for BLUE and remove all doubt. Support Decency, honesty, cleanliness goodness, future generations, the continued existence of the forces of GOOD and ALL LIFE ON THE PLANET, and FAIR PLAY. Above all, keep it POSITIVE no matter what THEY may be up to.

Orange is just the color of oranges and orange juice, and with enough Vodka will really get you BOMBED!!!

Orange was also the color of Tang TM The Official Drink of the Astronauts, but they thought it sucked and tasted like something you get when you drink too much of it, but thats Yellow.

Either they really liked BLUE because the Earth is BLUE when you see it from SPACE (which we won't get into again, just go see Alien in a BLACK movie theater) NOT GREEN, for sure they always kept trying to get back. Maybe they just weren't Irish. .

BLUE means HOME, LOVE, and COMFORT and getting away from NASTY ORANGE drinks that make your bladder fill up. Especially if you are an astronaut, which after all is just someone who flies with a fancy broomstick.

and yes, the sky is blue given the nature of light and what color is in the first place, Its no more illusion than the rest of what we call reality. Everything is made of atoms, electromagnetic fields, everything. Do away with that and everything is gone, you, me, the planet, the universe. In that sense, pretty much everything is an illusion.

Having heavied up for the moment, I suggest that we keep this light, and not take this seriously, so lighten up. :-)

For those of us in the frozen, northern climes where there is so little daylight, not to mention little sunlight this time of the year, i vote for yellow.. all sunny and bright and happy to help us through the perils of Seasonally Affected Disorder. It actually is a medical condition... some people in northern climates get very depressed and lethargic this time of the year because of the lack of sunlight. So we get lamps that give off a light wave the same length as the sunlight light wave... and it does make a difference...

And since some of us spend a fair amount of our time each day sitting in front of the MW screen... if it were a sunny yellow... it would definately help cheer us all up.

So... for all of us huddled in our little winter caves, sheltering from the icy blasts... think sunny yellow...... the colour of smiles. :)

Alternative is choosing to kiss frogs, thats Green, a real alternative for people who like to get warts on their lips, and a smell that only ages with time and never wears out. I see that blue and green seem to be the most popular choices. Why not combine the two and go with aqua? It would be a beautiful compromise. However sticking with the current options, I voted for green. Blue is a lovely color. Heck, I really like most colors, but GREEN is the color I most associate with life. That's why I chose it.

I noticed that too, but I thought: "Well, this is Mysticwicks, who says its got to be consistent?" But yeah, I wondered too. Maybe it was a little test to see if we were paying attention. Maybe it was late and mol needed a little amusement. Who knows? Like some others here, I was wondering why red isn't an option. All I really ask, being one with vision problems, iand as one who finds these pages hard to read unless the light is just right, is whatever color wins the day, that the text be a little larger, and there be better contrast with the background. Its really difficult sometimes.
