I just registered for Correllian Wicca - First Degree, and Correllian Wicca - The Five Mystic Secrets, and I've noticed a few other Correllians 'round here. Could you please post here if you are Correllian Wiccan, perhaps share what degree you are or classes you have taken or are taking, if you are a mentor or have had one, and what your experiences have been?
I'm interested to see how other Correllians are enjoying the courses etc.

I completed the first degree course way back when they only offered it through snailmail, before they had their current domain. It was the same watered-down stuff that you can get out of any book, but it wasn't a negative experience at the time because I don't take myself too seriously! Don't let 'em make you pay for anything. Now I know they're pedding misinformation. Technically, I'm automatically a "mentor" on that site, but have never been able to get somebody to so much as correct a typo. Have fun with it, but know that it's worthless!

It doesn't appear to have been a negative experience for you, Kudzu. Perhaps it will be positive experience for her as well.:)

You're right, I'll grudgingly admit to a neutral experience, about on-par with getting a free ordaination from the Universal Life Church! But I do worry about the folks I see who take it too seriously. They're just plain being deceived.

I am registered with them too...Have my first degree, and just passed my second a while back. Have to write my final paper now for my degree.
I agree that the first degree is pretty watered down, but I see it as a good basic introduction to what wicca is about. A first degree does not need to know more than that. ;) And yes people who don't go further do not get much out of it..
The second degree is much more indepth, and once completed, you have to write an essay exam as well as a paper/thesis on any subject you like within the material of the second degree...
I have heard that the third degree is basically all paper writing/articles etc. I have not decided whether I will continue to third degree yet. Besides that have a miriad of other courses too.

Ive heard both good and bad things about it, I'd like to see what its all about but I just dont have the money to spend on it to "see what its like" and if its relatively watered down in the first degree then theres no point as Id want to go straight to the 2nd lol

Greetings, I am a 2nd Degree Priestess of the Correllian Tradition and I mentored 1st and 2nd Degree students for Witchschool for about 2 years. I am now almost finished my 3rd Degree and I head Gaia Witan Shrine where I still teach 1st and 2nd Degree students. Whatever people say, there is nothing wrong with the Tradition. Alexandrians will bad mouth Gardnerians, Gardnerians will bad mouth Correllians, everyone bad mouths someone, its a wicked trait of humanity. Go with your own intuition Rain!
Many Blessings of Isis be with you on your path! :hahugh:

Yes Kudzu there are still free courses, and there are also Temples/Shrines like my own who offer Degree courses free too.
It isnt that bad a Tradition compared to some! lol
I am curious also, how do you mean you are "automatically" a Mentor at Witchschool? In all the years I have been there I have never known this to happen! Mentoring is an application based decision making programme. Is it some time since you visited the site?

Kudzu, why do you believe people are being deceived? about what? By Whom?

As Rev. Louise mentions yes the 1st degree course along with the mystic secrets course and some others are free. Thus, you do not need to pay to try it out.
