Have any of you ever heard of these. I had some when I was living in the southern part of Utah. A great place fro rock hounding. But they went with my collection. I would like to get another couple if possible. I have not seen them online anywhere. The ones I had a a absolutly incrediable energy about them. It was as if they were alive. You could almost feel them breathing as you held them.:boing:

Have you tried any of the Gem and Rock fairs that are held in the spring and fall? You may be able to find some there. If I ever go....which I don't do very often because it is too easy to get into trouble...I will look for them for you.

if you need some, tell me what size (and price range). i have tiny ones (like marbles, and also rather big ones, each bigger than ping pong balls
eta: better yet, get copperravens'
copper:yourock: for that kind offer
they always go in pairs, there are male and female ones
excellent healing powers. sometimes refered to as "living" stones, which is unfair towards the other stones, who live the same
yin/yang harmony is on of their strengths. the way i saw them spelled is Moqui Marble, coming from the Moqui dessert, but i guess its not the writing that counts anyway

something you may or may not know is that the area that these marbles come from is no longer open to collecting, it is now part of the Escalante Staircase National Monument
just one of the enormous tidbits of info floating around my brain

Yes I know. However where I used to live in Kanab, there was a small canyon that had great metasphysical properties just pouring out of it. And I found the ones I had there. I lived right on the edge of that canyon.

well, i suppose that is because often people will lose one, and than they want just a replacement
also many folks just collect them as stones, and dont care about the esoterics stuff

But those people do not know they are living things. I have heaerd some can be felt to be breathing. I appreciate the kindness of Copper and of you Czechy. I am really excited to be able to have a pair again. I wish folks could understand how stones and gems etc are the children of Gaia.

DS, I got a set from ebay , came in the other day.
Shaman's stones is what i was searching for. now i know the other names used..
I've been working with them... the female has a vibration and the male seems to have a heartbeat.
well, last night i tried sleeping with one at each ear like i had read on another site. I woke up to voices this morning but i couldn't make them out.
I've got good feelings about these stones.
Perhaps one day they will tell me what i need to do to help myself even more...

This is some further info i've found online ...
the rougher, male stone should be in your left hand and the smoother, female stone should be in your right hand.
They are ideal for grounding and are beleived to represent Mother Earth by the way they look. It is also a stone that represents all the four elements. Earth (hematite) sea (sandstone) Air (volcanic gases) and fire (volcanic activity)
