This week:
Many people believe they were animals before, or could be an animal in a future life.... and they want divination to confirm what type.
OR
They want divination work to connect them with a passed beloved pet.
How do you handle that? If you don't believe in it what do you say?
If you have a suggestion for a weekly Divination topic, please PM me.

What you actually believe is rather irrelevant. Divination either works or it doesn't. If it works, it will tell you if they have been an animal. If they haven't, it will let you know that too. So why not just cast the bones and let it tell you? If you are right, it will confirm it. If not, you may find yourself changing your beliefs.

Nobody has ever asked me what type of animal they were in a past life. I wouldn't mind doing a reading on that. It could be fun.
I do often have clients who want to connect with a beloved pet that's passed over. I draw some cards and then tell them what the message seems to be. One lady wanted to know where to place her pet's ashes and my cards showed a very disgruntled looking dog standing in an open closet. On a shelf in the closet there was a box. Off to one side there were a couple of dogs that were playing outside and having a good time. She said her dog's ashes were in a box on a shelf in the closet and she had been feeling like he wanted to be buried outside her study window close to where his sisters played every day.
I agree with Simply Puzzled - it doesn't matter whether or not the question fits into my belief system. When I was a victim advocate, I was assigned to work with a detective who handled sexual assault and homicide cases. He taught me a lot. One of the best lessons was that it was his job to suspend both belief and disbelief when he was on a case. Otherwise, he couldn't be objective enough to arrive at the facts of the case. That's what I try to do when I'm reading. I ask the cards to frame the answer so that it fits into the client's belief system - not mine - and then I relay the message I'm given. If it makes no sense to me, that's okay and if it does, then maybe I learned something new.

Well I find past life readings for others are difficult because usually the person just asks, "How did my past life go?" Which one? It's an entire -life time- you know, are you looking for anything special?
Though if they ask for a connection to a dead pet I find that area fairly easy to deal with. I just tell them how to talk to them and invite the spirit into their dreams.

I've done readings both for "my life as an animal" and readings for pets (dead and alive).
As with all readings I see what comes (I read psychically) if nothing comes then I just say I don't see anything.

I tend to agree that a reading is what it is, and its what people are ready to accept or hear.........I will often do a two part reading in this area, focusing n the current person and what they are in need of, and the question
