View Full Version : The Immortality of MysticWicks!!
Twig

:fpeek:
Greetings Dearest Mol, Semele, and :hugz:to the mysticwickersnappers from the "Crazy One".
Brothers and Sisters, I have been a long way with this beautiful place and witnessed the growth since the infancy of this "candle store offshoot". (Hey Semele, Therese makes candles too! "Shut up Twig!" Heheh) Never in my or their minds did we expect this place to explode into the power, yes I said power that Mysticwicks has become.
Mol my friend you probably know this but I want everyone else to realise that this place has reached "immortal" status (in my eyes) by having your link published in at least one well known authors book.
The referance I speak of is in the book The Pagan Man by Isaac Bonewits, one of MWs featured authors, on page 239. So should this place ever fail and the internet dissolve away, there will still be someone years down the road in the future who may see the book I bought and the notes in it and utter that infamous chant of ages and therefore set the wheels in motion again. The meditative prayer of Power..........
"Dude!...Whats a Mol!???"
A GAME
Find the Mol!
This is a game wherein you post any links, bumperstickers, shirts anything that has a link or referance to this site. Keep your eyes peeled and your cameras ready! Lets see how far in the world "the Word of Mol" has spread.
The winner gets more fame and accolade than they actually warrant. This contest has no ending date. (Think about that. Hehehe)
Peace!

Chilbi, you just pointed something out. I've been here since 2001 as well and it's just wonderful to me to watch some members grow up on the boards. Kay was a young'un when she was here as was Dellit. Granted they were a bit older than 13, but you know what I mean. Watching my on line friends and family grow and mature. Just like wtchy pointed out in her anniversary thread.

Hold on. I have nothing to do with said book other than being an occasional P.I. the A. to the man I consider to be the Pope of Druids if they had such a craaaaazy concept!
And he spread his arms and the ant colony that is New York parted for 5 blocks to allow him a Path to the underground...the netherworld...the subway.
And of course your post/announcement is in the true Twig form and we wouldn't have it any other way!!!
:eyebrow: :hmmmmm: Oh wow. I've got a form? Like a swan dive? Or or or something in triplicate? Oooor maybe a constructed device that contains the foundation of something (like a temple) until it is set. :) Yeeeeeah I like that one!
What IS my form?. And when did randomness aquire a form!? I've formed an opinion if nothing else aye? 8O
So I shall now perFORM an exit! Peace.

Yes Twig- you have a form- or shall I say a style all of your own. And I love it!
That is really cool about the book. I get Dorothy Morrison's newsletter and MW is mentioned in that too.
Mama Star- kinda neat to see our "kids" grow up. BUT- we are not getting older, right??

I'm sure Mol knows about this as he actually gave a quote, but there's an entire paragraph about MW in an article entitled 'E-Witching: A Wiccan's Guide To The Internet' by Gwinevere Rain, which can be found in Llewellyn's 2003 Wicca Almanac. :D
If anyone has the book the paragraph can be found on page 200.

Thanks for letting me know about this, Twig. Isaac never said anything to me about putting a link in so this is a very cool surprise. I really appreciate it.

I was certainly excited when I saw the mention in there (The Pagan Man)... I pointed it out to my brother and said, "SEE, don't you wish YOU were on here???" All hail the Immortal MysticWicks! :fpraise:

Very cool indeed. I know I'm a "watcher" more than anything (wouldn't want to be misunderstood) and have actually learned quite a bit from this site. Very good work Mol, the whole idea was very wise :fpraise:
By the way Twig, you definatly have a unique style. A very soothing (?) if not humorus one.
