Who am I kidding?

Dear Lord and lady, I am so tired of pretending that things are ok when they are not. I am tired of this facade that I have been living for over a year now. Ever since I finished therapy, I have been putting on this Miss Happy Sunshine act, but the truth is, I am miserable. I have no friends in real life. The only connection I have with the outside world is work and the internet. Why is finding friends so difficult?

The sad truth of the matter is that most people (particularly in America) just simply don't care. They don't have the time or the fodder to get close to anyone anymore. Of course, on the other hand, if you're spending all your free time in front of the internet...
