I've been yammering away, sticking my nose in here & there, & inflicting my advice on people, when I realized that nobody knows who I am.
I'm a middle-aged broad here in the cold Midwest. Happily single,a home-owner (of a haunted house that's crumbling around me), and owned by three of the most tyrannical four-legged despots on earth (cats, of course).
I practice a mostly-Celtic solitary form of Wicca, but I'm trying to learn more about Polish & Hebrew Pagan Deities. My "public" religion is Judaism, & as if that isn't tough enough, I got invoved in Wicca as a teen, although I practiced only sporadically until about 8 years ago. My ethnicity is Polish, English, & a bit of Celtic (I am squarely in the camp that insists that Judaism is a religion, NOT a race or nationality). I expect that as I learn more about Polish & Hebrew deities, I'll be incorporating them into my life & rituals.
I love to read...almost anything...and I am utterly unable to go into a bookstore & come out empty-handed. I get a birthday card from the president of WaldenBooks every year! I love to travel & my "if I win big lottery money" fantasy is a train/boat trip around the world. I already have every step planned. I also am trying for the "world's greatest aunt" title.
I hate winter, but my family's here and my job pays well enough to make me stick it out until I retire or win the lottery. I also pretend to be a writer (scifi & "comic" mysteries).
I do tend to start talking & forget to stop (sorry about that-it's an inherited trait). And I LOVe chocolate!
Blessed be!
