A lot of Southern Hemispherians swap about the Sabbaths, change the Elements about, but what about the Moons? As they were usually associated with the seasons in which they resided for those that do swap about a lot of things as we have opposite seasons, do you think the Moon also needs swapping??

i imagine you would.
i don't really follow the moon name thing... doesn't fit into the cycle as i see it. but if you do go by these folk names, then it wouldn't make much sense to call it a 'Harvest Moon' in March!

i would do so, if i were living in the southern hemisphere. i think it wouldn't make much sense to have something called "ice moon" or similar in the hight of summer. i've been making my own names for moons, according to what catches my attention most in that particular cycle.
this moon i've decided is "black trotter moon". cause i seem to see ash buds everywhere i go, and they remind me of little black pig's trotters or hooves.

If I were to name this moon it would be the Jasmine Moon as my whole garden is blooming with jasmine flowers, smells yummy :D

If you compare moon cycles, you'll see that they don't match one to one. They have always been revised for the area they are in.

I'd look for one adapted to local things, or work on your own.
