I want to check in with everyone on the class speed and material: how am I doing?

Really, really good. Wanna picture of my potholder? I haven't started the scarf because I'm dithering about if and how to use a second color.

Seriously, though, KEishin, your lessons have been very thorough, very detailed, and not pushy for people just learning.

I think it's a good pace :)

I'm a bit behind, but thats more because life's been a bit hectic - I'm gonna catch up this weekend because I REALLY wanna learn to knit and I dont want to get too far behind :halohead: as it is I'm going on holiday in a week for two weeks :hairraise:

The lessons are great. I am finding that I have a "struggle" period where I screw up everything with the stitches and then it seems to click.
I am on Lesson 4, but this one is giving me a bit more "struggle time" on the ribbing.
I am going away this weekend with my kids to visit my parents and I'll have nothing much to do but read and knit. ;)

Aww, thank you all for your responses! I've wanted to make sure I wasn't throwing too much at you too fast - there's so much to cover in such a short class. It makes sense to me, but I know this stuff! hehehe

So scream if you need anything.

I'm going to wait a week or two to post the next lesson. First because I'm going away this weekend and second becuase I want to ensure you all have a good strong foundation in the basics. Plus once you start the scarf that takes a bit more time than a potholder. :)
